A Texas Tribute: Arlington Celebrates 150 Years

Join the Arlington Community Band and Goodtimes Chorus for a free, family friendly concert to celebrate Arlington’s 150th anniversary and America’s 250th. We will perform “A Texas Tribute” by David Lovrien.

“A Texas Tribute” is an exclusive, live concert tour which coincided with the 50th anniversary season of Texas Country Reporter. Full of Texas tunes and featuring live narration, this unique concert or fundraising event with a direct, personal connection to the longest-running independent TV show in American history.

The concept for “A Texas Tribute” was developed in partnership with The Dallas Winds, who have suggested musical selections for the evening. Texas composer, publisher, and Dallas Winds Staff Arranger David Lovrien has composed original music to underscore the narrated portions of the event.
