The Arlington Community Band has two uniforms that are needed for performances
- Men — Black tuxedo or dark suit with tux shirt and bow tie
- Women — Black floor length dress or black slacks and black shirt
The ACB “Star Shirt” which is specially made for the ACB and is available for purchase for around $35, paired with either dark slacks or shorts according to venue.
Many venues require that our members provide their own black stands. Also, the ACB is working on going more “green” by allowing each member to download and print their own music before coming to rehearsal — which keeps our hard-working librarian from guessing how many people to account for.

ACB Governing Structure
A ten-member board governs the Arlington Community Band. Two members are appointed, while the other eight are elected. Each elected board member holds office for two years. Four board positions are elected at the Annual Meeting every year in December, which is generally during a rehearsal. If you are interested in being on the Board, please contact any board member for more information. The bylaws also contain more detailed information.
ACB uses email to let players know ahead of time if a performance has been canceled or starting times have changed for any reason. Please check your email prior to any performance especially in the event of inclement weather. If still unsure, please contact a board member or your section leader.
